Raku, who is still suffers from amnesia, looks at his locket. He seems to remember something about the promise girl, and Chitoge comes back to her room. She tells Raku not to worry, since the doctor said they can help recover his memories by showing him things he holds dear or remembers, and they can make a plan tomorrow. Chitoge suddenly realizes that she has to worry about sleeping in the same room as him.
Chitoge is nervous, so Raku suggests he sleep outside or in another room. As Chitoge begins to take him to another room, she goes to scout ahead to make sure no one is there. However, Claude spots Raku in the hallway, and tries to intimidate Raku, even going as far as pulling out his gun. However, Raku has no memories and appears unfazed by Claude's aggressive behavior. Chitoge rushes back and takes Raku back to her room.
Chitoge ends up creating a wall of clothes and stuff from her room to separate herself and Raku. However, Chitoge is unable to sleep.
The next day in class, the gang talks about creating some stimulus to help Raku regain his memories. Kosaki suggests they reenact their first meetings with Raku. Later, Chitoge, Kosaki, Marika, and Tsugumi meet at the Onodera Japanese Sweets Confections, and struggle to find other ways of helping him get his memory back. Shū comes and tells them Nanako is taking care of Raku downstairs. Frustrated, Marika starts tossing around Kosaki's stuff, and finds a picture book she recognizes in one of the drawers.
