Chitoge visits Raku at his house after hearing he had caught a cold. She felt responsible for the fight between him and Tsugumi, which concluded with both falling into the school’s swimming pool. To make it up to Raku, she shows rare signs of kindness, like offering an apple (which she peels to its core), prompting Raku to ask if she is really Chitoge. Kosaki also hears of Raku’s illness and comes to see him, to the delight of Raku. She offers to make Okayu along with Chitoge.
Raku realizes that both girls cannot cook and listens in on their conversation about making okayu. To his horror, they were planning to put more ingredients that could possibly kill him.
Raku’s servants enter with their okayu as he tries to avoid eating Chitoge’s. Shocked at the sight of Chitoge and Kosaki, who had both made okayu for Raku, the servants apologize for intruding. Leaving Raku disappointed since he was then forced to eat Chitoge’s okayu.
With no options left, Raku promptly grabs both okayu’s from Chitoge and Kosaki, gulping them in one go. He says they were great with a pained expression on his face and faints. Chitoge and Kosaki play rock-paper-scissors to decide who will watch over him.
Raku, only able to see a faint outline of the person watching over him, thinks it is Kosaki and grabs her hand. It turns out it was actually Chitoge’s hand, much to her shock. She quickly takes her hand away, but after seeing the pained expression on Raku’s face, holds his hand while looking away.
The next morning, Raku wakes up fine, only to discover Chitoge had drawn on his face while he was asleep.
Meanwhile, Kosaki regrets she had chosen “rock”.
